Dr. Eman Merza is a senior physiotherapist specializing in musculoskeletal and sports injuries and an early career researcher working at Al Razi Orthopedic Hospital, Kuwait. She graduated from Kuwait University with a BSc degree in physiotherapy. In 2016, she completed her MSc in musculoskeletal physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
In 2022, she completed her PhD in tendinopathy and tendon injuries from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Post-doctoral research focuses primarily on understanding the mechanisms responsible for human tendon adaptation.
Dr Eman has published several research articles in high-ranking journals in tendinopathy and is currently conducting three clinical research related to tendinopathy, fall prevention, and total knee replacement at Alrazi Hospital.
